Otter Family Genealogy Forum

I am assisting an friend of my father, an elderly gentleman who is recently widowed. His late wife's maiden name was Otter. Over the 50-plus years of their marraige, the husband purchased for his wife over 100 Otter figurines, a collection that he now wishes could find a new home. His wife, he says, was the last Otter of her family line, having had no children. I have not seen the collection but I understand the figurines are of all different sizes and materials and that some of them are quite valuable. If you have a serious interest in buying a large and presumably quite nice collection of otters, or if you have a suggestion on a charitable organization to which this man might be able to donate the collection (he already asked one zoo and they declined the gift), please e-mail me. Thank you!
