Thanks for the info -- I appreciate any & all I get.
I am not lacking in information about my O'Reilly famliy in the Montreal area -- I am having trouble finding where in Ireland my line comes from just before crossing the ocean. I've heard the name Carrigtwohill mentioned but I've got no documented proof.

I am researching my O’Reilly family tree and am having difficulty finding the beginnings of Michael O’Reilly & Mary Lane in Ireland. Without any proof I’ve been told that they once lived in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, Ireland before immigrating to Canada and settling in Montreal. According to my information Michael O’Reilly & Mary Lane along with their 2 oldest children (John & Suzanna) were born in Ireland – Jane was born on the ship coming across.
Most of the people below are buried at Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal : http://www.notredamedesneigescemetery.ca/en/research/ details can be found by searching “ o reilly “ (without apostrophe).
I have extensive records of the family in the Montreal area.
Any help would be appreciated.
