Hi all, My Australian O'Reilly clan arrived in South Australia as "Reilly"(sic). Phillip Reilly, wife Catherine and sons John and Patrick travelled on the Lady McNaghten arriving on the 13th October 1847. Travelling on the same ship was Patrick Reilly, Wife and three children. My ancestor is Phillip and my ggrandfather is John. John married Mary Agnes Mullins in 1863 at Willunga in SA. They had 10 children, Catherine Anastasia Lucy, Mary Leonora Irene, Phillip, James Andrew Esmond, John, Patrick George, William Walter, Agnes Ann, Edward Thomas and Susanna Margaret (my grandmother). John GG, died on the 11Nov1881 and Mary 23Jun1930. John died a month before my grandmother was born. John was born on the 10th January 1840 in Co Westmeath, and Mary 25th March 1840 in Co Clare. I have no other information about the births of either of these two. Mary travelled here on the Lady Bruce and arrived in SA on the 11 November 1846 with her father Patrick, mother Margaret Kearn, brothers John & Patrick. All lived their lives in South Australia. I would love to find out more about the Ireland side but am quite naive in how to go about it. Thank you in anticipation. Zita
