Mary Ellen Kelly was the daughter of Irish Comedian, John t. Kelly and Alice Davis. Mary Ellen was born in Canada in 1877 but living in Manhattan, New York in 1880 with her parents and halfsister. The story is that Mary Ellen went to Ireland and perhaps that happened when her parents split up in 1883 or perhaps later. As the years go by, a Mae McDonnell wrote letter from 7 Shannon Hill, Enniscorthy, C. Wexford, Ireland to Canada wanting information on the Davis family, and also her uncle Michael O'Leary who went to Canada for a while. So I wonder if Mary Ellen married an O'Leary about 1900, ended up in Ireland, and Mae is her daughter who married a McDonnell. The letters were written in 1964. Mae has to be a descendant although I am not sure how.
I would appreciage any help.
