I am looking for information on the parents of my GGF Phillip O'Leary... Born in Ohio July 1863. He was a painter who painted murals and gold leaf in large banks, hotels, churches. Am told he did gold leaf in St. John's Cathedral in Cleveland. In travels to Nebraska, he married Louise Traudt in 1892 in Hastings. They had five children. The oldest my grandfather Raymond Joseph, Edward, Louise, Helen and Margaret "Marty". Louise was hospitalized with TB and they were divorced ab 1905 when my gf was 12 years old.. Phillip left the children in the care of maternal grandparents and left. Phillip died in Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 17, 1921. His birth and death was on his death certificate. No names of parents listed. (On the 1880 census, there is a Philip born 1857 who at 23 is a painter living with widowed mother Ellen. This may easily be him, although the bdates are different. Especially since other info such as divorce papers have him born even later.) No family members know if he had any siblings Any information on this family line would be greatly appreciated.
