I have quite an extensive history of James O'Fallon (1749-bef. 1795. It mentions his sons John Benjamin (1791-1865) and Benjamin 1793-1842) I had a person do search for me and the info is dated from July 6, 2004. I have verified this info. IF you are interested in more info. on these 3 men here are some web sites:

http://www.wabashrealty.com/articles26-30.htm

There is also some info which I have on a Charles Pope Fallon who is representative of the 3rd generaation of the O'Fallon family in St. Louis. It can be found in the Centennial History of Missouri released 24 November 2004. Perhaps you will find some info. on James Keyte in that history.

IF you would like copies of this info, I would be happy to make them and send them to you for a nominal fee.

You stated you got some info from Edward MacLysaght book ..."Surnames of Ireland" I have that info. also.

I am really looking for info. on a Bridget Fallon who was my great grandmother. She married John Birmingham. Bridget's parents were Patrick and Catherine Fallon from Co. Galway, Ireland. She and John both came to Janesville, Wisconsin from Ireland and remained there until the time of their death. I have hit a brick wall on them even tho. I have found some Fallons in the town of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, Ireland. No real matches; but I did meet some Fallons there.

Good Luck and keep me posted. Patricia Emmer
