Looking for ancestors and family of Isaac Mcmasters, b. abt 1819 in North Carolina. Married Irena (?) abt 1837. They had at least seven children: Lucinda, Letta Caroline, Mary E., John (from whom I am descended), Jane, William, and Catherine.
John was born in 1850 in Cumberland Co., Ill. and married widow Sarah Amanda Strader House in 1881 in Greenup, Cumberland, Ill.
John was Sarah's second husband, her first being John House, whom she married in abt. 1873, and with whom she had one child, Mary Angela, (Anzie).
Sarah died 8 Oct 1888 in Greenip, leaving three additional children, Otis, Nancy, and William (4 months old). Anzie was raised by the House family and the latter three children by the McMasters family.
