I am interested to exchange info with anyone researching descendants from this line. i believe Alexander lived with grandparents on the family farm near Maybole Ayrshire before his marriage to Elizabeth in 1850, and worked as a joiner. I am descended from his cousin, also named Alexander, son of Hugh McMaster, teacher in Dailly.
