Hi Joyce I'm not too sure what info you require re John McMaster as I noticed that Donald has been in touch with you. My mother was a McMaster although not from the same family as your enquiry was,The McMaster families originated from Ireland and moved to Stranraer and Wigtown areas in Scotland, many of them then moved to Ayrshire to work in the carpet factories in Ayr and also the shoe factories in Maybole.
