Hi there I have some information re the above. Iam searching my own mcmaster tree as my mother was a mcmaster! the one you are checking is another branch his father was William mcmaster b.24.7.1786 in ireland married to Rachel Mccomb paterson also born ireland in 1785. They then lived in Maybole Ayrshire. John's birth date was 16.04.1824 his sisters were Helen b.23.02.1811,Rachel McMastrer b.13.05.1826, brother David b.17.02.1822 Rachel married Robert Brown and had 10 children.
