I am searching for information regarding Pate and Sadie [Dupree] McFee. They were from Gasden, Etowah, Alabama and had 11 children; 2 girls and 9 boys, three of whom were Pate (b. 1935), John and Cleophus (sp?). The family is black.
Part of the family moved to Indiana and the name was changed (per family legend) by a school teacher to McAfee. I would appreciate any information on this family. Thank you.
