I am looking for information about the family, ancestry and descendants as well as the biographical details for Robert C. or C. Robert Macfie, fur merchant, of London, Ontario.
He was born, according to the 1901 census of Westminster township (London South), on 31 October 1850 in what later became Ontario and married about 1876 to an American, Lilly K. Means, of Ohio. They had issue Josephine (b. 22 April 1877, Ontario), D. Fred (b. 4 September 1878, Ontario), Mary (b. 19 July 1883, Ontario), Helen (b. 19 May 1886, Ontario) and Jean (born 4 April 1891, Ontario).
