Catherine McAulay Toby McAulay of Inispollan was mentioned in the Belfast Newsletter in 1758,1759, 1774, 1780, 1781, and 1783 Also, mentioned in the Belfast Newsletter in 1781 was a Mary McDonnell = Mary McAulay of the Cushendall area = Daniel McAulay. In 1794 the following are mentioned: John McDonnell, merchant, Cushendall; Daniel McAulay and Archibald McDonnell of Colerain. I also know that Toby A. Macaulay was mentioned in the will of Major Archibald (Archibold) Macaulay who was living at The Cottage, Culfeightrin. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of their Macaulay kinship. It is certain, however, that both were descendants of the Ballintoy Stewarts. Notify Administrator about this message?
