Angus MacAskill (son of "+-2. Donald MacAskill & Miss MacSween", original post) tombstone inscription Goose Cove Cemetery, Queens Ann Bay: "Native of Harris, Scotland, who came to this country in 1828. Died at Munro's Point, St Anns, 21 May 1894, age 76."
"Wife Christina MacLeod 14 July 1886 age 70 yrs."

1871 Munro's Point census:
McAskill, Angus, 52, b. Scot., U. Presby., farmer & fisherman
- Christy, 52,
- Donald, age 26 - b. 1845, N.S.
- Sarah, age 24 - b. 1847, N.S.
- Mary, age 19 - b. 1852, N.S,
- Angus, age 13 - b. 1858, N.S.
- John, age 8, - b. 1863 N.S.

Donald Angus MacAskill, b. 5 March 1845, Cape Breton; d. 22 August 1915, Pearl, Idaho, is my g-grandfather.
He was in Maine by 1872, where he married Emma Tapley, and in Nevada by 1879.
