Hi Dianne, sorry I’ve taken so long to respond. I did receive the info on the 1170 tree, however I havn't found my connection as yet. Thanks for the Maps tip, fortunately for me I have spent a lot of time in the Highlands and have a good knowledge of Gairloch, as both sides of my family still live there – I’m a first generation Aussie. Donald born 1817 died 1879 married Margaret MacLean born 1813.
