Sorry it took me a month to read your post, I haven't been on line much the last few weeks. I don't know if I'm related or not. I knowe I'm descended (direct male line) from an Ivan (weird first name for a Scot) MacArthur who immigrated, as an indentured servant at the Ancrum Forge, in Ancrum (Ankrum?), NY in the 1750s, and I'm trying to figure out if some of his descendants might be the relatives in America that Gen. MacArthur's Great Grandmother came to America and lived with. If they are, then I've found a connection.
