I have just read your message while looking for my Barbours,
Evans and MacArthurs. Unfortunately I don't recognise any of your first names nor the places where they reside(d)but I thought I'd say "Hi" and wish you good hunting.
My Barbours came from Lochwinnoch (many families there in the 18-19 centuries) and Kilbirnie. My Grt-grandfather Peter, moved to Strathblane (N of Glasgow) then to England.
The MacArthur connection is through the marriage of John to Gwladys Evans of Welsh extraction, and they lived in the Chicago / DuPage area.
I don't expect any link, but you never know.
