Hi Angelika,

This reply is not about the MAAG family, but the Pfeil's. I think that GEORG FRIEDRICH PFEIL may be a relative of mine as he was born and recorded in the same church and town as many of my PFEIL family members.

Though my Pfeil ancestors moved to New York state, my own immediate family moved to Nebraska several years ago and interestingly, it looks like one of Georg Friedrich's brothers passed away in my hometown of Hastings, NE. Pure coincidence, but funny.

I'd love to hear from you to possibly compare notes about the Pfeils from this region. I'm in the process of having some parish records translated to English and some may be your Pfeils?
