I came across your positng from 5 years ago. I don't know if youstillcheck this board or whether you email address still works, but here goes.
I am a descendant of F-X L'Heureux's daughter Albina and her marriage to Albert Prefontaine. I would be interested in comparing info.
I had gotten my initial info from the HappyOnes site you mentioned and then added to that info that I was able to get formthe first book on St-Pierre-Jolys that you mentionned in your posting. I also added personal family info that I had regarding subsequent generations. Recently I have obtained, but not yet fully added, info obtained from a more recently-published follow-up tothe St-Pierre-Jolys book. It is titled:
Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba - Au fil du temps
ISBN 1-55383-060-1
I don't think that it is still available for purchase as I believe that they have run out of stock. I don't know if it is available online anywhere. It is filled with much more genealogical data than the first book, mopre up-to-date info and chocked full of family pictures. Are you aware of this book?
I had not looked into my L'Heureux ascendancy in a long time and was brought back to it recently as I was researching descendants in another family line of mine (one of which married into the L'Heureux family. In doing this I also came across Lucienne Cote (nee L'Heureux) of Winnipeg, whom I think may a more direct cousin of yours (she also happens to be my mother's first cousin as her mother and my grand-father are sibblings).
I am curently looking for info on the descendants of Dorilla L'Heureux & Ulrich Vadeboncoeur. Do you have any additional info?
