Hi, I am the great great grandaughter of Cottie Leary. The information I have is that she was born December 18, 1870 in Martin County. She married William Hoyt Griffin on January 29, 1889. They had 3 children. 1) William Allie Griffin Sr (my grandfather) b Oct 4, 1892 d Sep 18, 1943, 2) Aileen Melissa Griffin b June 1, 1895 3) Pearlie V. Griffin b Sep 29, 1897 d Mar 29, 1996. I found them in the 1900 census of Washington County, however, have been unable to find them about that in the census. I have seen that Cottie was a Leary as her mother was Emiline Leary. But I have that her father was John Leach. Have not been able to document that information. Do you have anything on them? I am anxious to see what information you have.
