John M. Leary was born March 27th, 1852, in Bennington,VT. He lived in Massachusetts, and came from Northampton, in that state, to Attica, Wyoming Co., NY in 1875. He is a painter and paper hanger, and is connected with Reserve Engine Company, No. 1. He was married Jan. 5th, 1879, to SOPHIA A. KING, of Attica, Wyoming Co., NY
