Leary Cork to Boston 1890 m Scannell, Kenney, Lucey

My ggrandmother Margaret Leary b about 1875 immigrated from Cork (Donoughmore) to Boston around 1893 and married Michael Scannell in 1897, had three children Patrick Francis 1898, Ellen Josephine 1900 and Margaret 1902 in Cambridge/Somerville area.

Margaret Leary had siblings who also immigrated around 1890 +/-, including Ellen (Nell) Leary Kenney, Mary (Molly) Leary Drummey, and Katherine Leary Lucey. They all lived in Charlestown, Cambridge, Somerville or Medford.

Margaret Leary's husband Michael Scannell born about 1871 came to Boston around 1893, reportedly from Cork (altho I see most Scannells were from Kerry). He was a blacksmith who travelled New England for work (possibly horse racing circuit etc). Following Margaret's death in 1906 he may have remarried in northern New England and may have had children Larry, Neil and/or a daughter.

Michael's sister Ellen Scannell came to Boston in 1890, married Jeremiah Reardon and settled in Cambridge. There may have been a brother Cornelius Scannell who also settled in Cambridge.

Love to hear from possible relatives.
