Need information on Cottie Leary, born July 1875 in Martin County NC. Married first; Hoyt Griffin, also born in Martin County NC. Two children, Pearlie Griffin born 1897 and Aline Eunice Griffin born 1895. Husband Hoyt Griffin left her in 1906. Cottie Leary Griffin moved from Plymouth, Washington County NC. to Edenton, Chowan County NC. She married second George B. Lassiter in 1907 in Chowan County NC. Daughter Aline Eunice Griffin married a HUDSON and moved to California and I am told, has descendants there.
George and Cottie operated a Fish Market on Oakum Street in Edenton NC. many years.
