My Great grandfather was born 1840 on his tombstone - in Ireland - everything else says 1838. He came to the US in 1862. Ca. 1867 he married Elizabeth McMahon - also born in Ireland - thinking maybe NJ - the marriage date is speculation as my grandfather was born in 1869 in NJ and there is one child in the family unaccounted for in later information. In the 1870 census the family shows up in Genoa Twp., OH. They were in Union and Delaware Co., OH until his death in 1902. Elizabeth died in 1922 Franklin Co., Columbus, OH. John was a farmer in the 1870 census and working for the railroad in susequent census. I have no idea where he came form in Ireland and would like to resolve that situation. Rich
