I've just starting searching for my Leary relatives, and am back to my great-great-grandfather, Patrick Leary (may have been spelled Lary), born about 1822 in Gorham, Cumberland County, Maine. He married Eliza Jane Baird (born about 1826) in 1845 in Gorham, Maine. Patrick and Eliza had at least one child, James Brown Leary, born October 7, 1863 in North Scarborough, Maine, died December 7, 1929. James married Anzonetta Gustin (born August 9, 1864, died July 3, 1917)in Scarborough, Maine, on March 9, 1890. One of James and Anzonetta's children was my grandfather, Millard Sheldon Leary, born in 1900.
I'd like to learn more about Patrick and Eliza. How was Patrick's last name spelled? Who were his parents? Did he have other children? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
