Have you tried sending for their pension papers? National Archives has them. I have a Jeremiah O/Leary/Leary from Eliz NJ His pension papers were remarkable. Lists all battles he fought in, letters from his family , Marriage & death date. Losts of great info. Hope this helps. Diane
