Peggy,
Do you have any information about decendants of these Vincezzos? I am working with very sketchy oral history on this family line, just trying to get a grip on it. The family says their ancestors were from Agregento (might be spelled incorrectly), Sicily, Italy, but as I have found to be true quite often they are focusing on the paternal side. I have a feeling the Lauricella side was from Sicily, but the Lauria line is the maternal side and I'm not ruling out any possibility at this point.

Either one of your Vincenzo Laurias could fit with this family, since the earliest birth I know of was Alfonzo in 1898. I don't know if he was the oldest, there may have been other siblings who were older, which would make it even more possible.

I'd love to see anything you have that might tie them together. By the way, "my" Vincenzo had a son "Vincezza" born in 1912.

Hope we can find a match!

Linda
