Hi Geri,
I'm looking for a sister of Henry Labar (Henry b. 13 Jun 1777, d. 8 May 1863.)
According to one report she was Susie Labar (married name Weiss or Wise) born c 1793 and may have died in 1873. Do you know anything about her or who her Weiss/Wise husband may have been?
i think Susie may have been the same person as Susannah La Bar , my 4 G grandmother, who married Joseph Hagerman on 29 Jul 1805 in Knowlton, Sussex, now Warren, New Jersey. This Susannah may have been born around 1786 in Mt Bethel.) Joseph Hagerman was born 26 Dec 1776 Centerville, Sussex Co. Joseph died in May 1823 of thyphoid fever in Stroud Twp, Northampton Co, PA. Since Susannah died much later, I think she probably remarried.
There are at least three Susanna(h) LaBars and I am having trouble untangling them. I appreciate any help you may be able to give me.
