Hello,

I know that this is an old post; but just had to reply incase.

My Nana is called Anastasia Kirwan Born in Dublin 1923, to John Kirwan, and I was always told she was named after a grandmother, either her's, or her father's. As a child she used to holiday in Grange Mockler, Co. Tipperary, perhaps they're named after the same decendant?
