John had one son Joseph W. Kerwin, b. St. Louis 1881, d. ??
1929. Married to Frances McKenna and/or Mary Ann Curley
Michael had several children born in St. Louis: Edward F. Kerwin, b. 1862, d. 1931; James W., b. 1865, died after 1930; William, b. 1868, d. after 1920; John, b. 1869, d. ??; Joseph P., b. 1875-1876, d. 1898 St. Louis.
Both changed spelling from Kirwan to Kerwin after immigration.
