Wow, Rebecca, this is great stuff. And it resonates very well with other information I've been reading this weekend about the Wheelers of Cranfield.
I think you're right. I just hadn't yet seen anything linking Capt. Thomas Wheeler of Concord, MA/King Philip's War fame with Lieut. Thomas Wheeler of Fairfield, CT. But I hadn't yet looked closely at Jacobus (although I kept seeing reference to him; I was too focused on Massachusetts Wheelers, and thought diving into Connecticut would be too much of a distraction. HA!)
Anyway I think you've got a great case. The Ward arrest is fascinating.
Rebecca, are you the Rebecca login ID over at werelate.org? Have you been over there, too? Is it your Wheeler data I've been massaging over there?
I'd really like to incorporate your comments above into the werelate.org pages. May I? Better yet would be a copy of your article when it's done! ;-)
