Darlene, hi just got a copy of the death certificate of Grace Hyde.
I do not know if she had been married before Sherman or not but it list her maiden name as Cearley.
Grace Alice Cearley b. May 29, 1910 Cherokee, NC died March 4, 1999 McCaysville ,Fannin Co., GA.
Listed as widow of Sherman McKinley Hyde.
parents listed as Hershel Cearley and Ellen Gaddis.
I wonder if they had any children??????
