Richard Kadel was born July 1840 in Hesse-Darmstadt and married Agnes S. (maiden name unknown) who was born in Wurttemburg. In the 1870 census they are living in Nashville, Davidson County, TN next door to his brother which is either Mathew or perhaps Mathias Kadel who is married and has five children. From the census data it seems that this family arrived in New York in the early 1850's and moved to Tennesse about 1858. Richard and Agnes moved to Atlanta, Fulton County, GA by the 1880 census (about 1875) and there raised their family. The occupation of the brothers were coopers. Any ideas as to who their parents were? Thanks for any ideas.
