I'm ready to jump overseas to Germany for my Kadel research, but first thought I would drop a line here in this forum.

My great grandfather William Michael Kadel was born on Castle Garden, NY 1856 upon arrival to NY with his family. His mother is Anna Margaretha Oehlenschlaeger and father was Johann Adam Kadel. They were married in Rimbach, Stardenburg, Germany. Anna's parents were Johannes Oehlenschlaeger and Anna Margaretha Echert. Johann Adams parents were Philipp Heinrich Kadel and Elisabetha Katharina Allert.

Do any of these names ring a bell? Are their any Kadel's, Oehlenschlaeger, Echert and Allert's interested in this line? or have you any information that might be helpful in my German search.
