Hi lynda. Sorry i dont know of this John Kadel. My great grandfather was John Kadel ,he was born and died in chambersburg pa franklin county ,his father was John adam and mother was Anna Elizabeth mayer who came to america through baltimore in sept 17 1835 on the ship Gustav from Bremen Germany and they settled in Franklin county Pa.My great grandfather had 6brothers and 6 sisters .Two of his brothers Peter and john ADAM settled in Moline ILL.Sorry couldn,t help ,maybe Frank or Lee could .they know the family history both are very good .Also Jane knows the history on Peter and john ADAM ,Im working getting civil war family history for her.I,ve been so busy with work but if you would like copies let me know .
