Hi,
I'm researching my husband's Jacobus ancestors and have come to a roadblock. The furthest back I can go is John Jacobus (b. abt 1788, New Jersey) who married a Susan (b. abt. 1790, New York). They have four children that I know of: Anna (my husband's ancestor), Margaret, Harriett, and John. I do know that all four children were born in Indiana (per an 1850 census). Other than that, I know nothing else about John & Susan and their family.
If any of these people ring a bell, I'd love to know more. Thanks!
