I am not related to the Jacobus families but am a researcher and the name stuck out in today's paper.

Wife: Caroline ___ (birth surname not given); children: David, Jim and Jane (no information as to a spouses); grandchildren (no surnames given so can't tell whether any are children of Jane): David (dec'd), Donald, Jennifer, Brian, Scott, Ted and Melody; great-grandchildren: Andrew, Grace and David; moved to Tucson 1998; began working in Pittsburgh with US Steel and later was transferred to Downers Grove, IL (outside Chicago) where they lived for 25 years; returned to Pittsburgh where he joined American Express until retirement at age 75 (no dates given for any of these events); served US Navy and earned Silver Star for gallantry as naval gun liaison officer, honorably discharge 1955; founding member of Good Samaritan Hosp. Naperville, IL; member United Methodist Church; no burial information given; donations to Casa de la Luz Foundation (a hospice), 400 W. Magee Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704.
