So we're cousins! We didn't do a good job of keeping in touch with Jacobsons, obviously!
Yes, Alice adopted my Dad, Gardner D. Atkinson, Jr., in 1944. We actually recently (4 years ago) found his biological family - it's quite the Opera Winfrey story!
I have some clippings and stuff that my Grandmother kept of the Jacobson's 50th anniversary in Minneapolis - and pictures of the whole clan at the party.
So, is your grandfather the one that ran for Governor of Minnesota?
