Magnus Jacobson and Albertine Haverstad are my ggrandparents. Their daughter, Alice, was my grandmother.
What do you want to know? And what can you tell me?? I'm thinking part of the reason I hit a brick wall with Albertine was because of the last name spelling issue - my Dad always said "Haverstad" - and that doesn't seem to be very close to the actual spelling!
I don't know anything about the Norwegian info - only about Madison, MN, my grandmother, and some about my great uncles. We went to Madison, once, and saw the "Lutefisk Capital Of The World" sign; but couldn't figure out which house had been theirs - too many Jacobsons!
I know you posted this 3 years ago - but hopefully you still check the message boards and/or your email once in a while!
