ODD THOMAS JACOBSON, 64, a retired assistant director of inspection and the office of planning evaluation at the FBI headquarters in Washington, died of cancer June 25 at a hospital in Savannah, Ga. He lived in Hilton Head, S.C. Mr. Jacobson was born in Fargo, N.D. He graduated from George Washington University, where he also earned a law degree. During World War II, he served in the Army in the Pacific. He moved to Washington in 1946 and joined the FBI in 1949. He later had assignments in Richmond, Los Angeles, Cincinnati and Albany, N.Y. before returning to the Washington area in the early 1970s. He retired in 1975 and moved to South Carolina. Mr Jacobson was a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. Survivors include his wife, Georgia, and two daughters, Barbara Anderson and Karen Hill, and a son, Odd T. Jr. all of Hilton Head; two sisters, Ruth Boyd of Brawley, Calif., and Irene King of Seattle, and a grandchild.
