My line goes back to Henry Whitney Jacobs, b 1830, who was a brother of Francis Clark Jacobs, b 26 May 1845 in KY. Their father was Nathan Jacobs, Jr., b 1 May 1798, VT; d 8 Nov 1881, Estill Co., KY. But his father was Nathan Jacobs, b 21 June 1762, Killingly, CT; d 18 May 1846, Bennington, VT. The line goes on back to Benjamin Jacobs, b 1719, Bristol, CT to Nathaniel Jacobs, b 1683, Hingham, MA, to Joseph Jacobs, b 1646, Hingham, MA, to Nicholas Jacobs, b 1597, England. The Francis C. and Nathan in our lines seem to match. Would like to hear from you. Eleanor
