The reason I posted this is because my husband's Crutcher family intermarried with the Owens family and the Irby's intermarried with the Owens and these Irby's I listed above were listed just above my Crutcher family on the censuses and although Moon Irby is listed as a farm laborer for the Owens, I'm pretty sure he was borrowed from a relative in the area.
Also, my Crutcher family came from Panola County, MS and I've seen some postings on this forum about Irby's from that county and thought that was too much of a coincidence.
