Did anybody ever get back to you? I don't have any personal information; this isn't my line, but Thomas Inglis and Margaret Cowe were married June 7, 1856 in Prestonkirk, East Lothian. They had at least seven children: George Cowe, born October 26, 1858 in Prestonkirk; Alexander, born April 22, 1860, Prestonkirk; Robert, June 30, 1862, Gladsmuir; Thomas, May 11, 1864, Prestonkirk; Andrew, July 12, 1866, North Berwick; Margaret Jane, April 5, 1869, Whittingehame; and Peter, January 9, 1873 in Whittingehame. All this is available on the LDS Family Search website, www.familysearch.org/ . You can get a copy of the marriage record for a fee from the Scotland's People website, www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk or you can order microfiches from your nearest LDS family history center for less money but a longer wait; the marriage record should tell you the parents of the couple.
