I am looking to trace the ancestors of 2 sisters -- Catherine [b. 1841] and Caroline [1832]. Last name Inglis or Ingles. Father Douglas.

Caroline was listed in obit as "native of Glasgow". Married David Greig [b.Ayr, 1806], Children: Mrs. Otto Sprunk, Mrs. James Halstead, David, William, James, Elizabeth, Charles, George, Alexander. Caroline died in 1909.

David Greig eventually marriied her sister Catherine [b. 1841], they moved to Detroit, MI. Children: William [1865], James F.[1867], Walter S. [4/1871], Elizabeth[4/1872]
Joseph [4/1874} & Edward [8/1876]. Edward is my grandfather.

David Greig & Caroline Inglis are buried in Woodmere Cemetary in Detroit.

I am looking for the birthplace of the sisters and info on their parents [Scotland].
