More Joseph Ibbotsons at Bradfield: 1780's

I think that the name 'Joseph Ibbotson' must be on a par with 'John Smith' in Bradfield.. I have 2 others recorded at Bradfield NO.1- Joseph Ibbotson married Martha Bramall on May 29th.1786. NO.2 Joseph Ibbotson married Sarah Ashforth on August 6th.1787. Both appear to have had 6 or 7 children.
So far as I can work out NO.1 was my 4x grt-grdfr.My problem is discovering who his father was. I think that he came from Hathersage and that he was born son of Robert Ibbotsn in 1759. The problem does not stop here. There appears to be o reord of a Robert being born at Hathersage after c.1670. It is,however, possible that he might be either the son of John, an innkeeper in Sheffield, or William who was a grocer on Fargate,Sheffield.I do not havedetails of either of them apart from the fact that they originate from Hathersage.
If by any chance anyone has such information could they help me ?
If by any chance Peter Ibbotson from Oxford reads this I would like to contact him. I would be very interested in Tom Tomlinson's book and I wonder wheter he has come across the two booklets by Rosamond Meredith which give some details of the Ibbotson families.
