Hi Sophie, my grandfather (George Edward Gaydon) was born in Hereford, England in 1885.His father was George Gaydon and mother
was Alice Dawes I have not been able to trace back any futher. I seem to reach a dead end when I try. My father,Uncle & grandfather are all deceased and the few records I can find stop at my Granfather.
I also feel that all Gaydons and variations of that name do come from the town of Gaydon in Warwickshire.If I come across anything new I'll let you know.
