Mary "Polly" Fabrique (daughter of Lewis Fabrique and Catharina "Caty" Diefendorf/Devendorf) was born 1802 in German Flats, Herkimer, NY; died 2 May 1857 PA or NY; married Thomas Paine Smith on 25 Oct. 1825. He was a son of Otis Smith and Hannah PAINE. The children of Polly and Thomas were:
1) Mary Catherine Smith, born 10 Aug. 1826 at Covington, Wyoming, NY; died 13 May 1852 Oramel, NY; married 1 January 1848 to James B. Spaulding in NY.
2) Louis Otis Smith, born 4 Oct. 1828 at Covington, NY; died 14 Feb. 1910 Los Angeles; married 1st to Harriet McKeyes and 2nd to Mary Jane WORDEN.
3) Silas Milton Smith, born 13 June 1831 at Covington, NY; died 5 Sept. 1855 at Waterloo, NY.
