So I have for sure got my line up to a William M (R) Eades b 1836 in Georgia, married to Lucy Heath circa 1860. I have 2 September according to a book I found the Mormon FHL in downtown Salt Lake City, though others have it differently. The father is listed as T M Eades in that book. I've found a T M Eades listed in the Census for Georgia on several decades and over several locations.
Anyway, I've never been too comfortable about the whole T M Eades being William's father. The source is secondary and you never know with secondary sources. I haven't been able to find an actual marriage cert. and I know that some of the records were destroyed.
As for what I have on T M Eades, I know for sure William's father was born in Virginia according to census data. His mother was born in South Carolina and I assume she is Elizabeth. I found that listed in some Census records.
I am essential stuck on this line. If knows anything and has access or a record of the source, that's a bonus. Thanks for any help in advance.
