Ms. Davis, I may or may not be a desendant of A.P. and Eliza Dunkin. I have looked into my ancestry a little, but have not been to successful. My parents divorced when I was young and I was not very close to my fathers side. I of course know my grand parents name but have not had much luck in finding out a lot more. I do know that my great-grand parents were Robert Wesley Dunkin and Cynthia Ellan Cummings. My great-grandmother was born in Perry County Alabama in I believe in 1864. I have not been able to find anything for sure on my great grand-father or on my grand parents for that matter. Robert Wesley and Cynthia Ellan were living in Texas in 1901 and had their last child, my great-uncle. I can't recall his name right at the moment but he was called Buster and later became a minister. I was able to locate information on him and I have it somewhere, all the records though have him listed as"Duncan" and his children continued with that spelling. My grandfather's name was either Connie Moscoe Dunkin or Kony Moscow Dunkin or some variation of that and he was also born somewhere in Alabama in or about 1884. He named one of his sons Robert. Well this is getting to be to long. As I said I do not know if I am a decendant or not. It would be great to know. If you have any more information about Robert W. please post.
