PA - Stoneboro: Does anyone know the date of death of Samuel Uriah Custer or Stoneboro? Where is he buried? What does the Uriah stand for? Need help on this line of Custer's. They are relatives. He is my fahter's second cousin.

Special Day - Samuel Custer is celebrating his 100 birthday today.
Although he's a third cousin to General George Custer, it's his amiable personality that makes him special. - News Photo by Rudy Nyhoff. Samuel U. Custer of Hickory Drive is celebrating his 100th birthday today. What makes Sam Custer special is his twinkling eyes and keen sense of humor. It isn't everyone who can claim his father and the famous general were second cousins. But Custer remembers his father talking about the relative although over the years pictures have been destroyed. Custer also remembers making nail kegs for 50 cents a day when he first started working. He's take his pay home to his mother who gave him ten cents.
I would like a copy of the newspaper article, and/or citation for the article, newspaper published in. Is there anything on his genealogy of either him, or his grandfather, Samuel E. Custer that m. Mary Ann Varnes. The grandfather had 12 children.
I have a copy of Samuel Uriah's picture from the paper, but it is not very clear. Would REALLY like information on his ancestor, Joseph Custer & Elizabeth Williams and his father. Thanks in advance.
